View Full Version : is the tunze 9010 a good skimmer?

I am looking into a new skimmer and I have a small sump area. Does anyone have anything to say about this? I have a euro reef 100 and I was wondering if this would be a good upgrade.

Yup, I have it in my 54g corner tank. It work well but you need to clean the cup more often otherwise, it will stop working well. In my opinion, it is worth my money.

It is rated for upto 250 gallons or so, do u think it will be good for my 120?

I have it on a 125, not nearly enough. I wouldnt suggest it for more than a 75g.

DAS EX-2 would be good on a 120.

Had a 9010 on my 120.

Not enough (great for a 75)

DAS Ex-2 is FANTASTIC on the 120!
