Try getting a small wide mouth jar, like a baby food jar.
Bait it with a piece of raw shrimp. You will have to weigh it down, to keep it from floating out.
Put the jar up against the rock area where you think the crab might be. Lean the jar at a angle to the rock.
Shouldn't take more than a couple nights.
The crab can slide in but the smooth sides of the jar will prevent it from crawling out.

Remove the rock and put it into a prepared saltwater solution with an SG of around 1040. Leave it in there for 2 minutes.

The crab should come scampering out. Look for it when you lift the rock. If you don't see it, get a turkey baster and fill it with seltzer. Squirt the seltzer into the crab's hole until it evacuates.

And don't forget to wear rubber gloves.

I just reread the question and realized the rock could be removed.
Bruno3047 said it all.

I waited until night and the crab got onto a rock that could be removed(takes some time maybe a week)Patience
