So I picked up a sleeper goby yesterday to work on my sand. He's acting strange. He just swims back and forth near the top, but when the lights are off he goes back into his spot that he sifted out. I've seen him sift a few times, but my sand is much finer than the argonite he was in. Could that be an issue? Also, I haven't fed him any brine yet, but was going to here shortly.
I'd love some advice. I may just be too concerned for no reason and he just needs to settle in, but this is my first goby and it seems funky.
It appears he may also have been munching on the little hair algae that there is. Not a significant amount thought.
