Any one else experienced this? hope it will be ok, the nem that is.:eek:

Don't worry- your nem will be fine. You will probably see the expelled shell in a couple of days.

no but i watched my H. crispa eat a good size Echinometra rock urchin. next day the sand around it was littered with spines and a hollow test! i've know doubt your carpet is enjoying it's meal.

My tan one ate a conch once with no ill effects.

awesome, I thought the crab my do some damage to the mesentaries with its claws, hopefully not.

got home today, said hermit is strutting around the tank (its the only one in the tank), the nem is fine and has eaten since:confused: :confused:

My carpet tried to eat my gigantic turbo snail. He fell in and I knew the snail was doomed. I went to out to dinner and when I came back the snail was on the front glass eating away. I guess he got his door closed before the carpet could taste snail and spit him out.

I can't keep any snails or hermits with my haddoni. He eats them all.
