Hey everyone,

I have a question for everybody. I have been using the two part Ocean's Blend in my 45 gallon SPS tank. It has been working great. The question I have is do I need to add anything else? I have been told this product has everything in it that the tank needs. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can offset your costs by using a homemade two part or adding limewater. Check out the chemistry section articles.

Some people have problems with low magnesium, you might want to check it out at least. Others add amino acid supplements, I do not know much about does those.

If your color and polyp extension look good I would not try to fix what is not broken.

DIY two part and weekly water changes. The two part will maintain your Ca and Alk while the water changes replace the trace elements, iodine, strontium, etc.

Check out bulkreefsupply.com for the supplies.
