I have a weed/plant that has taken over my tank. Does anyone know how to kill this or what fish eats it? Picking it off does not work.

Its the second one! There is another one that looks like a fern. How do I kill IT?

Caulerpa. Racemosa for the grape looking one and probably taxifolia for the "fern" looking one. Though if you are looking to eradicate it I doubt you care about the taxonomy.
Pull it off the rocks by hand. You will have a hard time getting it all this way, but that's the way to start. From that point a couple big turbo snails or a tang of the zebrasoma sort will finish the job. Caveat... even after it looks like it is gone, if you remove the grazers from the rock the caulerpa will grow back. You won't completely remove macro seeded rock short of detrying the rock.
HTH.

If it hasn't gotten to all your rock, remove the infested one, pull it all off and soak the rock in RODI water with a bit of bleash for a bay.
Rinse rock well, let it air dry for a few days and put it back in.
If it is on all your rocks...eeek!

Cant help what grows out of the rock, but good point. I wouldnt attempt to ship or sell it, that will get you in trouble. Make sure you treat every bit removed from the rock responsibly, freeze it to be sure its dead.

Ditto on paying shipping to get some. I have a lot of caleurpa and other algal eaters and I am always begging for buckets of infestating algaes. PM me and I'll take all you got.
