There is nothing wrong with that wireless bridge. It works correctly just like any other new wireless bridge.
Just because you don't know how to set it up, does not mean does not work and does not mean people should not buy it.

I run my network as a ghost; no SSID broadcast with a PSK. I have been using the LinkSys Game controllers for all my AC3s and have not have any issues.

I bought the same bridge and couldn't figure it out at first. Then i realized that my wireless network used WPA encryption while that bridge only used WEP. If you want it to work, run it open like fload said, or step down your network encryption to WEP, or return it for the WGA600N (like i did) or similar.

mac filtering only blocks basics users from getting in. Anyone with any knowledge of wifi can clone the mac address and get in. I wouldn't rely on mac filtering as your primary security.
A program as simple as netstumbler will scan your network and list and mac and ssid on your network.

I wouldnt say that I'm skilled in networking but with my bs degree in CS I think that should give me enough knowledge to work with any computer my problem is that I run two diffrent system together here if I run a linksys system by itself then there shouldn't be a problem but I have a netgears router and seem like I had done enough research that I had change to wep off cloning shut off all my firewall and a whole lot more list of things the only time it worked was my network wide open then there I sho problem called the tech and he said screw me so what else can I try? If it help I had the version one

I am sorry to say this but if you want people to help you, you will have to put a little time and effort into writing your questions. You have there one big run-on sentence that I did not even bother to read.
If you want help, don't make it hard for us to help you.

Care to elaborate? So you're saying that every WGA54G can run WPA but its just a setting issue?

Some people know where to look just not how to explain...
The version 2 of the WGA54g supports WPA with the new firmware. You can get it at the linksys support (http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1166859907960&packedargs=sku%3DWGA54G&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=0796007960B01&displaypage=download#versiondetail) page

Thanks. That's just what i thought. When i returned my WGA54G i looked all over town for a version 2 and couldn't find one. I also looked online and nobody that i could find was specifying whether the unit for sale was a version 1 or a 2. So instead of taking a crapshoot online I ended up getting the WGA600N for 20 bucks more and it even supports the newer N technology.
Version one has not been available via retail for some time to my knowledge. All the stores around here carry V2.1 with the April 05 bios.
I was simply referring to how the documentation does not make mention of the WPA option.
