What Is This??????

I just got home and i see this guy in the tank!!!! Can some one tell me what it is and if its a bad thing or i can leave him in the tank. I took him out and put it in a bucket. it is a good 5 or 6 inches long and is like a caterpillar kinda.

its like a gray color and has a brown out line all the way around it. its about 1/2 inch wide.

Should i take it out or will it be fine? I just read that some say they are fine others think not. I do have some corals but not many.

yeah but gray with a brown out line. its about 7 inchs long. but yeah thats it.
