For the life of me I cannot keep Monti Caps! I have other SPS corals that are growing well no worries (picture shown of a neon acro (ID?) doing fine) but Monti's slowly turn white and eventually loose all their tissue within a week, top left hand of the full tank shot - under the leather taken a few days before it went white.

I have the following setup: 50g corner (24x24x30), closed loop, VorTech pump (4000 gph total main display flow) Eco-Phos in phosban reactor, ASM G1 skimmer, 250MH 14K phoenix, 24" Attinic PC's, 20g sump/ref, Miracle Mud and Cheato, RK2.

Latest Water parameters: 4/21/08
Temp 77ยบ
Sal 1.024
CA 430
Alk 10.3
Mag 1350
Phos 0.0? (must be a little high as I have diatoms)
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
Ammo 0

Last time I took three small frags and placed them in three different locations in the tank and still no cigar. I believe I heard that potassium may help is this true and if so how much? If not does any one have any ideas?

Whats used for water flow?
What food is added to the tank?

There is a Posiden pump on the closed loop, and a vortech inside the tank generating the 4000 gph.

I feed the tank sparingly:
