so i need to get my calcium reactor more fined tuned .. so i decided to break out my old neptune controlle.. seems to work fine.. butt.

one problem.. the ph is showing a constant 6.50.. as if it is not reading it.

solutions please

is there a reset.. is it broken ect. i made sure to turn the ph off and then back on. orp is set to off and so is the temp..

thanks

It almost sounds like you have the PH probe plugged into the ORP connector? Are you sure the probe is good?

by the way the probe is the one that ccame with a pinpoint monitor.. its the one i am currently using with the pinpoint \ph monitor. but want to swithc to my old neptune so i can controll the co2. not sure of the model of the pinpoint probe all it says is made in romania.

thanks

yep .. check the probe and it works on the pinpoint monitor no problem.. calibrated it and checked it against a other ph monitor.. my neptune III ... which controlls the main tank parameters.. thanks

If this is an original AquaController, then there are 2 ranges of operation (high - 6.5 to about 11, and low - 3.0 to about 9.0). For Ca reactor operation, you probably want it to be set to low range, and then calibrate the probe with 4.0 and 7.0 pH calibration solution.
