Just to clarify... You are getting no (as in not any) or no as in not many or no foam head?

What are you using as a feed pump?

using mag drive pump rated 190 gallons an hour just like salty supply told me to. Using nw that came with skimmer

Do you understand how the riser works to restrict the water? You can twist the bottom pipe and it will either restrict the water or allow it to run free. With 190 gph and a restricted riser pipe you would probably overflow the cup.

I just noticed that you are a plumber so my reply was probably pointless

You have a riser tube. My dnw-150 cam with a ball valve.
Is it a new skimmer? Has it broken in yet?

Mine came with a ball valve also.
On mine sometimes when the power has been interrupted the recirc pump will not start producing bubbles until I blow into the air intake.

If you haven't modded it. I would return it. Marine Solutions swapped my pump when it was doing that.

It's 3 years old. Do you think aquacave would still warrant it?
