View Full Version : 300 gallon vs 215
I am trying to decide between a 96 x 24 x 30 and a 72 x 24 x 30. Any advice?

Yep, that extra two feet gives a much better presence!

The extra two feet will realy help if you get any large filsh like a tang
The main reason to go down to 72 is the width/height ratio. Above 30" tanks get really expensive and my arms are only so long.
Even with my 120 the width/height ratio makes it hard to see the whole tank at once. A 72 x 24 x 30 is actually a worse width to height ratio.

Why ask the question if you new your answer?
Get what you can afford, go with what you like
I personally like my 8 foot tank

no question 8 ft. Always go as big as you can. I went from a 55 to a 90 to 220 to the 450.
