My incoming water measures anywhere from 700 to 1000 TDS. My unit originally measured 0ppm but has jumped to 15ppm. I've been told that this is happening because I ruined my DI resin/RO membrane because I didn't "flush" them first.
Is this true? Or, does it have something to do with the initailly high TDS of 700 to 1000?
