best ebay protein skimmer

i was skimming across ebay for a protein skimmer and was wondering if anyone knows any good deals of any name brand ones or just ebay knockoffs?

i want something that does a good job but at a decent price..im low on the budget

I bought a Jebo brand new for 25.00 years ago off there and that my friend is a lesson learned. You get what you pay for. There are lots of good skimmers for sale here.

Jebo 520 it can handle 100g, mod the airtube you should get decent skimate. Let the pump suck the air from its inlet. The pump is a little noisy thou. you can always change out the pump with a quiet one. I got mine for 83 bucks shipped

best ebay skimmer is a oxymoron. Watch the classifieds here. People are always selling used skimmers.

check your local craigslist, you'll be better off there.

thanks guys!..i just found a skimmer called danner for $46, comes with some sort of other filter also..im going to look into it more

I would skip the danner and look into something else. The octopus HOB line seems to be getting decent reviews. But I agree that skimming the used drygoods section here or looking on craigslist in your area may be the way to go.
