Looking to add a couple more fish to my 90 gal FO setup. Currently have a 5" V-tail grouper and a decent sized yellow tang. Wanting to add a blue tang for sure.

Last night we were out at a LFS and saw a couple of these guys, great personality and fun to watch. Did a little research last night, two things concern me. Maximum size could be 12"-18", and it said you have to feed them some hard shellfish to keep their tooth growth in check.

Anybody have one of these guys? Do they stay a reasonable size in captivity? Any big issues?

Thanks.

Keep in mind the grouper is going to reach about 10-11" in no time, the yellow tang 8-9", and the blue tang almost a foot. Porc are great fish but they do get big, I've seen a 12" and they are messy eaters too. I'd be concerned about the bioload. They do need hard shelled food and live rock for their teeth.

I would also be concerned about the bioload, then the size of your fish in such a small tank.
