Me and a lot of reefers in my area are impatiently waiting after H2Ocean pro+ salt, who will be available at our local reef shop in maybe one or two weeks. I don't have any doubt that it is a good salt but I did'nt find yet comments about it. Anyone have been tested it?

Thanks reef/aholic, but I've already saw this table. What I want is comments from people who have already used it.;-)

Those numbers seem pretty good, the alk is high for the ULNS users. Anyone know what the "Deltec" price would be for this?

I agree, I can't longer wait to try it in my reef tank!:D As all Deltec products, I expect it will be excellent!

I just wanted to share my experience with you guys on behalf of this particular salt. Initially I purchased this salt, and was very impressed with the overall blend of this salt, as well as the packaging. I'd hate to admit, but as we all know, most of us are "hands on type of hobbyist, who enjoy high quality products; in receiving my salt, the texture and feel of this salt blend was very fine and appeared to be easily blend able. I am a chemistry major and I can honestly say I was very impressed with the Analysis of this synthetic salt mix. The fact that this salt is manufactured by solar evaporatetive process which renders ultimately pure salt; this can only be achieved as long as the condition of the facility and processing center is maintained in proper and sterile conditions. As I measured I did in fact notice lower chloride levels in this particular salt blend. I know this is for the sole purpose for further enrichment of Calcium and Magnesium chloride which will render minimal effects on the overall chloride balance. This gives us as hobbyist more push and pull of the trace elements in our reef aquariums. I was originally using Tropic Marin Pro Reef Salt, which in fact is a great brand of salt that does work very well, and has maintained my reef for the past 4 years.
For the first water changed I pre mixed the blended salt in fresh RO/DI water which runs through two DI cartridges. At this point the Salinity was matched, along with the temperature after mixing for a full 24 hours, thereafter measuring all of the levels in order to achieve results for testing.
I preformed three test of each level using Both Salifert and Elos Test Kits. The results are as follows:
"These results where the median of all of the measurements taken in order to achieve a accurate reading"
PH: 8.0 "The reading was lower than what is stated due to the fact that their was minimal ambient light on my mixing container"
DKH: 9.2 "I prefer to run my ALk at 11, so it was altered before introduction to my aquarium" ;)
Calcium: 420
Magnesium: 1380
Chloride: 19003
Potassium: 380
After preforming these test I went ahead and adjusted the Alkalinity to my personal likings, then proceeded to do an immediate 15% water change on a 100 gallon SPS Frag System.
Results have been positive. I had no ill effects of polyp constriction, or any signs that the chemistry in the water had been altered. This was the first water changed preformed; results have been great. I will provide further analysis here in the near future.
Hope this information helps.

Uber,
I am bit confused... you stated you used salifert and elos for all tests yet you have readings for K and Cl...?

Uberreef,
I would not recommend buffering the KH value up. The salt is balanced and buffering it up that high away from natural seawater specs will through the balance off.

The first containers of salt are arriving soon. Marine Depot should have it soon for the retail side and Sunlight Supply will be receiving the salt to supply dealers around the USA. In a nut shell H2O salt will be available soon.....

HI Folks,
The salt is available now you can find them using this link (http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_searchItem.aspx?IdCategory=&utm_source=mdhfl20080425b2&utm_medium=mdfl&utm_term=mdhflH2OceanSalt20080425b2Left&utm_content=mdhflb2Left&utm_campaign=mdhfl&fromsource=mdhflH2OceanSalt20080425b2Left&SearchText=dd2211%20%20dd2213&parsed=1)
We've been using the salt here in the office and it's working out great. No ill effects to the corals and some of them are encrusting better since we started using this salt. We also used it in a new tank to house some ORA corals that we recently got in and not a single loss.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
