When I'm not using my RO/DI filter, should I disconnect it and drain it?
I produce at least a few gallons every few days, and also about 25 gallons twice a month.
I don't know if algae or anything will grow in it from sitting with tap water in there? It is near a window so it does get indirect light.
Thanks,

Its ok to disconnect it but dont drain it. You want the membrains/filters to always have water in them. If you drain them the membrains will dry out....thats not good

+1 Do not drain. They need to be stored wet.
