I was looking to get my tank ready to keep sps and was wondering if anyone out there can help me out. I am working on getting my flow up but cant find a way to get my koralia 3 to not through the sand all over my LR. Any ideas? I guess I could put it behind my LR and aim it into the back side of one?

BTW, I know a K3 is a lot of flow (850gph) and I DO have more in my tank, I'm thinking of dropping my MJ900 return and putting the 1200 in its place, that leaves me at 47.7 tanks per hour which i think should be enough. Would dropping that 230 gph make enough difference to keep the sand in place?

maybe you have the pump too low and can raise it up higher in your tank. also, if you don't want to raise up it higher from it's current location, try aiming it up more.
