...now that I've discovered that the LOW LIGHT SETTING on my camera is the only way to get halfway decent pics. :)

My fiancee and I started this tank in September, 2006.
A year ago, we moved across town. THAT was an experience. Our royal gramma never recovered from that.
So due to the move, I really consider this tank a year old.
We'll add more coral and a few fish this weekend, so I'll have more pics. :)
I've learned TONS from this site. Thanks, everyone!

Three Top Fins rated at 250 gph each (and that collectively, I paid $2.50 for. YAY clearance! )
Two Penguin 1140's at 300 gph each.
I think we're at the point where we want to upgrade the PH's and get a real wavemaker.

Are, too. You can see it on the glass in some pics. :P I'd just cleaned most of it off the glass.
Unless we're talking coraline algae. In which case, there's a little... more every day.
Just discovered the awesomeness of calcium supplements. :hmm4:

Oog, lemme think. 4-6 weeks it cycled, I think? Then we added some inverts. It was probably two or three months from set up before we added feesh.
We have two sets of Nova Extreme lights - each at 10,000k.

Heh. I like yours better. :)
Probably a combination of a smaller tang and less rock on my part to make it look bigger.

In your tank you want a minimum of 20 times exchange rate or 2500 gph. penguins dont count but to help by breaking the water surface allow better O2 exchange/

Thank you.
Will pick up something to remedy that this weekend.
