I got a new ACIII and set it up. I plug it into my router and it links at only half duplex and 10mb, if I take the cable and plug it into my laptop the router goes to 100mb full duplex.

I cannot ping my ACIII so there is something up with the network port.

Same thing on two other switches.

The AC3 defaults to the address of 192.168.1.50; what is the IP address of the computer you are trying to connect to the AC3 with? Have you checked your network configuration (especially subnet)?

The default is port 80 so unless you have changed that you should be able to connect to the AC3 using the following link:

http://192.168.1.50/

No the IP address is 192.168.1.50, the issue is the ACIII is not linking to the switch properly.

My network is a 192.168.1.X/24 my laptop is 192.168.1.75 again the ACIII cannot negotiate at 100/FULL on any hub or switch port.

I am a network administrator so I sort of know what I am doing.

Is your router a 100 only; I thought most hubs are 10/100 so it shouldn't matter if the AC is 10 or 100?

I just checked and the AC3 is 10baseT so it's not going to work on 100baseT (if that is all you have).

10/Half is more than enough bandwidth...
...a hub will typically only connect at 10/h. A switch will give you the option. What is your model type and number?
To test the ACIII, connect a x-over cable between your laptop and the ACIII. What does it connect at? You can at least play with speed/duplex setting on your laptop.

I finally got it going by pulling out a different hub out of the closet. It was a pain and it is working great. I need to calibrate the PH probe for it, but other then that it is very nice to have.
