question for Boomer

hi boomer, the other week whilst adiscussion on carbon was on going you said in apost to wash weekly and replace monthly, i have been taking your advice and have aquestion, do i rinse briefly under the tap or give it a good wash, sounds ridiculous but im not sure if i over wash im actually causing the carbon problems, at present im just quickly rinsing, please clarify, many thanks boomer:)

Mike, about a good min of washing should be good enough. There is not such thing as over washing it :D

cheers Boomer, i know it sounded ridiculous but ive been using carbon for so long now and use to run it for 2 months then change it, only recently after reading your post i have realised my carbon was probably exhausted and not actually doing much, i want to make sure i now get it right, hence the question, i have been cleaning it weekly now and will make sure i replace it monthly, thanks again for your valued information:)
