I wanna make a 400-500g and have that natural touch marine plants give along with some easy going corals.
What fish should I avoid that will eat all of my algae? I dont mind them eating a bit but if they gonna empty the whole aquarium of macroalgae than its a no go for me. I am thinking of adding eel/grouper/tangs/angels/wrassses. For sure I know tangs eat algae but I dont know the quantity. Thx in advance :eek1: .

my friend has a 300g tank. his 3 tangs can finish off a basketball sized ball of chaeto in 3 days just to give you an idea.. rabbitfish are voracious algae eaters also.

I wouldn't consider tangs good tankmates for macroalgae also....They trully like this stuff!!

no ... if he finds good macros. he will be fine. esp with some interesting inverts and fish. really depejnds on execution. marine macros may be even mroe interesting than regualr corals.
