Is anybody running one of these fixtures?
I was looking at a 12 x 80 watt fixture for my new 210 gallon tank, but kinda torn as to a decent all in one fixture. Looking to mainly do SPS, LPS on the sandbed and some zoanthids.

Other options were the aquatinics constellation or possibly 2 ATI powermodules. Not sure where I would be best served here.

Any thoughts or expreiences would be appreciated.

i just got a giesemann moonlight...and, imo, is probably the best all in one you can get.

at average $25 per T5 bulb...you'll be spending somewhat close to what replacing mh bulbs will cost.

even if cost is not an issue, why not go mh to not second guess about 'if' i can keep this sps, clam etc with T5.

i know, i know...there is a lot of debate and 'yes, you can keep and grow sps, clams etc with T5's'.

heat?

yeah, sure. mh's put out heat...but so do T5's.

besides the moonlight and the matrix is a pendant and you would be using it in an open top tank, yes?

good call on the giesemann. i am really enjoy their products though they are a little spendy for what you get.

check out my giesemann thread. YES, i JUST got it!!!:D:D:D
