Would you recommend QTing delicate fish, such as an Achilles tang, before adding it to the display tank?

My QT is a bare 55g long and my DT is a 450g 120x24x36.

I wonder if it would cause to much stress for the Achilles or is there a different procedure you would recommend for introducing the Achilles to the DT?

Thanks!

(I haven't ordered one yet until I figure out things like this)

Tbittner,

Thank you for your inquiry. To help prevent the spread of possible disease, we highly recommend quarantining any new arrivals before placing them in the main display tank. Below is a link to an article on this topic which you may find of interest.
