My LFS sold these as "True Blue Candy Canes"
No clue what they actually are:

I've only had it in the tank for 2 days. I checked late last night to see if it was extending its feeder tentacles. I didn't see any extension though.
Do they extend on their own or do I have to stimulate them, or do I just need to wait a while for the coral to adjust to my tank? I checked last night 3 hours after lights out.

This was only a single polyp about 2 months ago. I found it in the LFS damaged corals bin.

I just ran a filter on them in photoshop to see the color under normal lights, they look just like the standard red with green centers..? Anyways nice size :) Also they will adjust, at night when the lights go out, they should extend their feeders.

Yeah I think mine are the regular Red/Green ones.
I bought that entire colony for $38. So I think I got a good deal. One of the heads has a baby on it as well, might be able to see a little bit of it in my picture.
I had some Tentacle response last night. I squirted a little Mysis juice on them 30 minutes before lights out. They had the feeders out a little bit when I came down an hour later.
I've got frozen Marine Plankton and Mysis to feed them, is that sufficient?

Exactly! Those are not real. It was a quick 5 minute Photoshop job.

Awesome video by the way, not sure what impressed me more the 4 way(which was nicely plumbed btw) or the music! I love that song!!

Wow some nice candies, I recently picked up a frag of a neon green candy and its looking awsome. So after browsing around I am curious are Caulastrea furcata and Caulastrea curvata the samething? If not than whats the difference?

I just found this colony and got some frags off it, VERY strange looking. Some heads are metallic green with stripes and some are a pinkish with stripes. I bought both kinds and am going to grow them out. One of the coolest looking candies I have ever found.
