I got a 72'' coralife aqualight pro that I was going to put over my 220. The only problem is that it is the 3x 150 watt mh version (with the atanics and everything else)

Do you guy think I could successfully keep s.p.s. under this light?

If so, how far from the top?

What are the dimensions of the tank, specifically, the depth?

If you were to try to keep SPS, they better stick to the top of the rock work.. and you better have some decent height with the rocks to reach the height needed. That would be my suggesiton..

the tank is 30'' deep

72'' long

24'' wide

Electrobes i was thinking the same thing

Yeah, if you kept them in the top foot or so of the tank they'd be fine.

Yeah I would try to center any islands or pillars under the lights so that you can get the sps closest to the lights.

Also, does anyone know if I changed the ballast and bulbs if I could up the wattage to 250.
