Humm...Gem tang and decent price doesn't fit together! They are very rare(there is a long waiting list for this fish), really really expensive(around 5000$) and normally, a person who own one will not sell it for a good price (if he want to sell it!)...BTW, good luck in your search, I hope you will find what you are searching for!;)

Ive seen gem tangs in the 2500 range lately not 5k. Not that 2500 is any less insane to pay for a fish though. But hey if you've got it and you want it go for it

good luck finding all those, and you better have all the money ready. I have a black tang and i paid $250 from someone else's tank ( lucky me). However, then u'll have to take the risk if they die. Spending more money and buy it from store would actully give you something like 14 days replacement or so.

wat's a koi Tang anyway?

No offense, but those big dinner plate sized ones should be left in the ocean to breed. The price on them is going to skyrocket because they overcollected them in Xmas.

myerst2
05/07/2008, 03:03 PM
No offense taken but the reason they are expensive is because they are only collected in Christmas a couple of other locals. They are common in other areas where they are not collected. Look at your avatar you should leave the big dracula gobies in the wild so they can breed. Did you get a baby Dracula? In fact it looks like you may even have a pair? So what's the deal?
