I have a swim only tank, with live rock, no coral or inverts, and have been using Stress Coat as a declorinator. My son said maybe Stress Coat is not made for salt water since the label doesn't SAY "for fresh or marine use." Does anyone know? Also, is it safe for reef tanks....we use RO water for those, but one of the new fish has ich and a fish that's been in the tank for a long time now has it.

It should be safe for reef tanks. I don't think many people have reported problems with it, although it can cause issues with protein skimmers.

It's fine in SW as a dechlorinator, though like Jonathan says, it will make skimmers go crazy.
