How much flow should I have in my 34gal tank (red sea max setup) The circulation pumps that came with my tank are rated at 145gph and i have two of them the sump pump is rated at 320gph. is this enough flow for my tank. If Im doing the math right I think my setup filters the water 8.5 times per hour (I think, correct me if Im wrong) 2x145gph

I was recently told that I should have at least 20 times turn over for the tank, is this true?

how many gallons per hour should I go with?

and if I change the circulation pumps will I need to change the sump pump?

id say you have enough circulation for a tank even if you have hard corals. you dont want too much flow(some will argue) becuase you may get corals that like low flow. i believe the placement of the flow is more important have it hitting your live rock and any corals that require high flow.
