Dark Green Skimate

Setup my ETSS 600 and running it for about 2 days now, Anyone ever seen skimate like this. Normally its looks like dark tea this looks like green kool aid. Check it out!!

Alot of phyto fed tanks will pull out the nuclear green stuff. I've skimmed out different shades of green but never like that. Nice!

Yea its pretty nasty stuff, ive never seen it so dark before, on my last skimmer it was just a dark brown color, it started out that way and changed to this nuclear green color stuff. I dont feed phyto much, and the only thing green i introduce is the green macro algea from the asian food place.

How often are you cleaning your glass?

i have minor build up, nothin much, my girlfriend is a clean freak and she cleans it daily lol I had to ask her to stop cleaning it for a few days so i could see how much its growing.

I get green about like that, I feed a Tsp a day of phyto. Usually my skim looks like that.
