Hi everyone. I was just wondering if there were any people from the New England area on the forum. Looking for some suggestions on good local suppliers for tanks, live stock, coral, acrylic, acrylic supplies and any other must know local spots and shops.
Thanks

Where in Ma are you? If your in western Ma the Connecticut area reef society would be closer to you. If not then check out Boston reefers.

I live in Franklin (495/Mass Pike area). Tropic Isle in Framingham is good although pricey (and good luck ever finding anyone to help you); Uncle Ned's in Millis has some SW stuff as well as LR and substrate; Coral Reef Aquarium in Seekonk is awesome (although a bit of a drive) plus you can stop at Sea Creatures Aquarium in N. Providence on the way which is decent as well.

Thanks for the response.

I actually just stumbled upon the Boston Reef Forum this morning and signed up. Look like a good bunch of people. I live on the Cape and work out of the Providence area. I think I will try that place in Seekonk. Sounds like a good place. Are most of you folks on the Boston Reef Forum as well?

Its always nice to meet some local folks.

Hey andrsn. I signed up for that boston reefers forum a couple of days ago but for some reason it will not let me post. I wrote a message to the contact us link but no one got back to me. Did you have that problem when you signed up?

Same thing happened when I signed-up. I guess it takes them awhile to process registration requests. Maybe it's their way of teaching us new reefers patience. ;-)

Ah I see.

Its Reefer hazing. I thought they would of made you walk on sea erchin spines or hold a 5ft bristle worm or roll naked in pile of fire coral or jellyfish.

Hopefully I'll pass the test and see you guys on the forum soon.
