I was wondering what to do for brown algae. I mostly get spots of it on the back part of my tank. Right now I have the chemi-pro in my fluval 405. Any advise would be good. Thanks

Jimmy

Well do your best to get it out by hand and get a good clean up crew, the chemi-pure pro should help but it is up to you to finish the job and add some algae eating fish like a lawnmower blenny or foxface to help. Good luck

I got the foxface. What kinds of inverts get rid of it? Also is it ok to mix snails and hermits? I am finding that the hermite are taking the snails shells. Thanks

Yes it is fine but no, hermits only take empty shells not ones with snails in it (from what i hear)

astrea snails, mexican turbo's, blue legged hermits, red legged hermits, scarlet hermits, and other but these are most common also get a media reactor (ex. TLF phosaban reactor) to make sure you are using the chemi-pure to its maximum strength
