so i just purchased a 55 gallon acrylic tank, and added a gen x pump and drilled myself a closed loop system on the back. I am going to be doing predominately Acros and other sps corals. My current ideas for the tank are as follows: small school, 1 large fish, or a few anthias

Smaller schooling damsels
or 4 sunburst (or bimaculatus) anthias
Possibly Harlequin tusk (i know i know they dont do good in reef tanks, but ive seen success with them before...)
possibly do some tangs

So let me know what u guys would do, im open to suggestions of fish i dont have on the list. I would like either a personable larger fish. My main goal with this tank is to get good at sps corals and take this knowledge and experience to a 250 gallon tank. Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Bimacs don't school (or so I've been told).
Harlie tusks do fine in reefs, they just eat inverts. They will also get FAR too big for a 55.
As will tangs.

Genicanthus spp. angels do fine in reef tanks; they're planktivores in the wild, and (if decompressed properly) do great in aquariums. Bellus, swallowtail, Lamark's, hooded swallow, etc.
