1 Do people use the fish guard and flow streamer thing?

2 My lion fish is going to get his mane sucked into it, anyway to protect this?

A healthy fish will have no trouble with powerheads. But korolias dont have an intake there a propeller design wich just push flow.

lance is correct---no worry with a healthy fish. I've had pincushions, snails etc crawl all over the outside housing with out any problems.

Only things I've ever heard might be issues with koralias is anemones (if that's spelled right) ;)

Yeah, I've heard that. Don't have any experience with them personally yet myself. Tank is too young and I'm too new ;) Would like to get a GBTA sometime though.
