AragaMight/ AragaMilk

Actually, the main ingredient in those is just fine sand, and contrary to their claims, it does not dissolve and is not useful. So I do not recommend any of those products.

This is a quote from Randy in the Chemistry forum.

I use aragamilk, and it dissolves fine in a couple hours. I have not had any problems so far.

It might fall out of suspension but it is not dissolving in a reef tank.

I add it to my water change water and it is fully dissolved with no residue on the bottom in a couple of hours.

I am currently adding aragamilk into my tank right now and noticed something odd.

The fresh salt water I make (Red Sea Salt) has a reading of ALK 7, Calcium 340ppm.

Testing my display tank I get a reading of ALK 14 and Calcium 280ppm. I only have 1 LPS coral, the rest are Zoo's and softies.

I think the aragamilk is just increasing my ALK and nothing else. As of last night I stopped daily dosing of aragamilk.
