Jesse,
Could I use Filtra M in a media reactor like the georeef media reactor? I plan to have about 100 gallon/hr flow per 1 L of media.
Because I have about 40 fishes in my 250 gallon tank, I plan to use about 3L of Filtra M.--Does this sound right?
Does Filtra M remove P04?
Thanks
Alex

Just so you know Alex, I'm using 3l of Filtra M on an 800 gallon system. Filtra M is way more potent than Zeo and can do harm to animals (coral lightening due to the rapid nutrient export) if you don't take it slow.
My understanding is that Filtra M alone won't help reduce PO4, but the combination of the RB10 -RB50 line will. Also, using a media reactor is a great way to use the media, but I think you could use a little more flow through on that much media. More like 600gph to 900gph. Just try not to fluidize it.

Matt,
You go all over the place!!! (all the forums)...Thanks!
I am using 3L zeovit and 1 L Filtra M right now. I just can't seem to get certain color in my sps to pop, pinks and baby blue.
I may have to post in the zeovit forum, but I thought I ask Jesse first.
See you tomorrow.

Using the RB10+RB20 will really supercharge the Filtra M. I use it in the show systems at the store. A couple of other customers are switching fully to the Pro Skimmer/Omega diet for their tanks, and now have begun the Filtra M route...

Do your colors seem really light?
