Why in the world is it so hard to find general parts for bk skimmers? If they are being sold in the US, shouldn't you also supply companies w/common replacements for general maintance like o-rings, needle wheels or impellers? It seems easy enough to slip these in a small box with skimmer shipments, or at least provide a couple of common backup orings since they are cheap and vital for the pump to work properly. With the directions a person gets with these skimmers, which was none in my case, and you go to clean the pump for the first time, it's super easy to accidentally mess up the oring and then it's too late and your pump won't work. I don't think it's good for my tank to set 1-3 months while waiting on parts which is what I've experienced from every retailer I can find online who carries BK skimmers. We have german cars, and it's easy to find parts.... so enlighten us.
