like most if not all angels, they start life out as female and when they become dominant they switch to male. This means that the smallest ones are female and the larger ones are male. If you are trying to pair them or get a colony pick small ones and one lg one and hope the change hasn't started in one of the smaller ones you've picked. The problem is keeping them seperate like from the collector to the wholesaler, to the store, the change may have started if it is dominant, and once they change they can't change back.
