i got the sps itch, but want to keep some of the soft corals that are in the tank now.

Particularly, hammer, torch, frogspawn, candy cane, toadstool

Can some/all/none stay in the tank?

I would say everything except the toadstool.

If you keep your ALK, Calcium, and Magnesium in check and have the proper flow and lighting I say go for it. I keep a lot of coral varieties in the same tank as my SPS. The SPS grows great, and colors are good. Just keep them from touching and you should be fine. Also, if you are running carbon all the better. Some of the LPS you have like the hammer, torch, and frogspawn can put out long sweeper tentacles that harm or kill other corals so give them plenty of space.

I have 6 different types of toadstool leathers and over a dozen "leather" varieties all in with my SPS and all seem happy and have been for quite a long time. Although, I would like to seperate them into different setups some day.
