My new 3 month old Reef!! Pics!!

Thats alot of buildup over three months. I might be worried about the PBT, they can be aggressive towards tank mates anyway, and sine you added him right at the beginning... Well good luck matey, looking good so far!

I forgot to mention I had taken quite a few corals from my 1 year old 55g reef. I didn't realize that the PBt will be so territorial. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem.

I think you are referring to the algae magnet. I usually leave it in the tank for convienance.

Mag Scraper.

I wasn't knocking the amount in the tank. Sorry if it came across that way. More of a "must have been expensive" comment. I like the rock layout ALOT. And the tangs are beautiful. Hopefully you won't have too much of a problem with the PBT aggression. And IME, the Magfloats last longer if you sotre them outside of the tank. Looking good!

No problem. Yes, money goes quick in this hobby. Glad I don't spend my money golfing anymore!! :) Thanks for the info on the mag scraper.

The extra 6" is very nice for the height! How tall is your stand? 36"? I love the taller stands so you can just walk up to it w/o bending down.

Yes, it's either 35 or 36 inch. I would never switch back to anyting shorter. I love the taller stand for the same reason. :)

that is all true, but when you have to scrape the bottom of the tall tanks on tall stands, it makes it kind of hard to reach

Agreed....you'll be cursing the height of that tank when the time comes time to remove coralline algae from the bottom edge and corners. It's a big enough PITA on my 90 gallon.

That is a nice setup, i kno its a pita scraping a 90 as i have one but im getting a redseamax now to replace the 90 so not as hard to clean and take care of lol.
