Tangs and String of Pearls

I was wondering if tangs eat red string of pearls macroalgae?

It may depend on the individual, but for the most part I would say definately.

Have you had any success with tangs and string of pearls? If so what kind of tang was it? Thanks!

Never tried it, but I will say many red algae are very paletable to most herbivorous fish. If given the opportunity I wouldnt try it unless I was using it to feed the Tang.
