What large angel would have the best chance of compatability with a ~ 5-6 inch adult color asfur angel in a 210g

A genus other than Pomacanthus or Holocanthus, IMO.

with large angels would it be better for 2 or better for 3 to be in the tank for agression reasons

It would be better for only 1 ;)

but then again all fish would all be better off left in the ocean.

Angelfish are very, very territorial. The do not tolerate any relatives in their territory, and they maintain a rather large territory of several hundred square feet. I'm not saying don't keep angels, but rather not keeping multiple angels in a tank to be stressing each other out and picking on each other ;)

I would say go with a regal, flagfin, or a goldflake.

Depends on the species selection. And I also have not tried it - but if I did, I am convinced a trio would work better......
Species selection - well its all a gamble, there are soem obvious no-no's - such as a mac for example, or a koran (similar body shape) - I'd be tempted to go for an emporer and either a majestic Or a queen..... this is largely based on preference I must admit.
If you went with these, I would go with both juv. colours - introduced at the same time - emporer at 3-4" and queen at 2-3" OR majestic at a strong 4" and an emperor at 2-3"......
Either way, you would be introducing two potential "targets" so the aggression would be halved.... the asfur can only pick on one at a time.... and asfur's are the msot aggressvie anyway...... but as long as they are significantly smaller than the asfur, then he shouldn't see the newbies as too much of a threat..... initally.
Significant size differences - with most aggressvie being smallest offers the best chance, in my somewhat limited view.
It cannot be stated enough times however that what you are trying is very tricky, and you really should have quite a bit of experience with angelfish behaviour - you could strike it lucky, or maybe not - but if you do not recognise the early warning signs, you will end up with either sick or dead fish.
I think q-tine is absolutely essential in this endeavour, for 3 reasons:
(1) Disease - obviously enough.
(2) Much more importantly - familiarisation. You new fish need to recognise you, recognise food, and be comfortable with their new circumstances. They need to be acclimatised to yoru routine i.e. lights out at 10pm, feeding at 2pm and 8pm, routine maitenance and so on. Do regular water changes on the q-tien tank using water from your 210 so that they are in the same water conditions etc. Then when they go into the the new tank, the only stress they'll have is dealing with the Asfur.
(3) After introduction, you will have the q-tine tanks still running, so if it goes pear shaped, then you can quickly get the little guys back to safety.

Any think that has no what so ever similiar colorations (go with something bright or yellow like what campbell said)
