Adding Tunze Powerheads, is this all I need?

I have a 72 gal tank and would like to add a couple of Tunze pumps to it.


Is this all I need?


(1) PLM-4L Expansion Card (I'm using L1-L4 for lights)

(1) Tunze 1 Cable & (1) Tunze 2 Cable (I'm assuming I need 1 of each type to control the pumps)

YL2-1 Splitter cable (So I only use up a port on the PLM-4L Card)

(2) Tunze NanoStream 6055 Pumps

If you are not using L3L4 you can use this for the Tunzes, but if this is also being used you will need L5L6 (PLM-4L) or upgrade to the EX kit giving you much more functionality also

Using L1 & L2 for the Dimmable T-5's

and L3 & L4 for the Simu-L sticks

The 4 L ports are the best as I plan to add a fan controller unit at some point.

Yep you will need the PLM-4L or if budget allows go for the EX upgrade as it comes with this as standard along with a list of other features.

But as it stands now, yes you need L5-L6 I am just outlining some choices, which hope helps

Guys, when you add the expansion PLM-4L, is the top slot L5/6 and the bottom slot L7/8 or is it the other way around. I just added the slot but lost the instruction manual. Thanks!!

Is it possible to add a PLM-4L to a Profilux Plus II EX unit?

the profilux Plus has 3 expansion bay... are you using any of them now? the EX dose not use any of them.

I don't have a unit yet, but I'm thinking an EX (or Plus II and add the EX card).

I just wanted to know it it was still expandable, thanks for answering!
