I am mainly a Tonmo dweller, but I thought people here might appreciate if i shared some of the photos i've taken of my pet ceph, Octopus Prime.

Probably a fiddler crab.

yup, he was chowing fown on a fiddler crab, those are the legs sticking out.

Totally awesome! I tossed the idea back and forth of an octo tank for so long but decided I would wait till I was a little more experienced.

Thanks for sharing and yes more details would be great.

that is B.A. i love the octopus 40 gallons seems kinda small how much did that guy cost total w shippin??

40 gallons is fine for an Abdopus. They are small octos.

nice pics. ive always wanted to get a octo tank set up but heard they have a short life span. my LFS's never carry them anyways

Hey, aren't those slits on the tank hood wide enough to let the octopus squeeze through? :eek2: Nice octo though! :fun4:

That's not the tank lid. That's a plastic bug cage.

They're easier to maintain than a lot of corals.

Doubtful. It might squeeze arms through but not its beak. If the material wasn't rigid then yes.
