Coral Placement

I'm ready to move my Frogspawn, it's currently under 144 watts of PC's ( 94 watts 10k, 40 actnic ) near the top of the tank.


I'm now moving him to the new tank where he will be under 2 150 watt MH 10k and 4 54 watt T5 actnics.

Where do you think would be the ideal place out of the two I have shown.

1 would be lower and the back side would be slightly shaded because
of the rockwork.

2 would put it up higher and fully exposed to the light.

1... start him out lower in the tank... also you will want to reduce your light period while he is adjusting to the new lights.

I agree...start it out on the sand bed for a few days...then move it up to spot 1 for a few days then if you want move it to spot 2.
