wavemaker interval time

What is the recommended wave maker interval time?

I have 2 modded maxi jet 1200 in a 125g tank with all types of corals and fish.

The controller is a reefkeeper 2 and can do pretty much any interval...

I would go a hour or so. To save on the wear and tare on startup.

I have a MJ900 on a wavemaker. 10 min on/off. Been doing this for 2 years on same pump, still going strong.

so is there not a recommended time on this?

I set it to 5 minutes last night just for the heck of it not knowing what was right I will bump it up a little but would like to hear more on what others are running?

Mark, Is this a stock MJ, or a moded one with a prop...?
