Are these ok for saltwater reef aquariums?
I have one and he sat on my button polpys for a couple hours and some are missing now. What should I do?

They are not reef safe. They will eat anything they can get on. You should return him to the lfs...

They are not reef safe in that they can/do eat corals.
Your choices are to keep him, sell/trade him, take him to an LFS for credit etc.

Remove him, take him back if you can.
They are not reef safe. I had one in my tank for 6 months then all of a sudden he decided he wanted to eat coral, so now he resides in my sump till I add on a 10 gal to my system. Great star but not for a reef sorry.

Yeah, just refug him. Remember not to put him near and NON-spiney urchins.
