I am currently running the Coralife 65w pc on my 29 gal. It is doing fine but I have searching for some new bulbs and am noticing some different one's out there.
I have now the standard 10K and the 03 Actinic which runs in the 420 nanometer range.
But I have seen the split bulbs with half 460nm Actinic & half 10K daylight and the half 460nm Actinic & half 420nm Actinic. I have all soft corals mainly zoo's and mushrooms.
I am not sure if I should just stick with what I have or try say the 50/50 actinic and 10k and a actinic or whould that be to much actinic?
I really want to bring out the color in the zoo's. I would like to upgrade to the T5's at some point but that will be early next year. But I am wondering would that be to much light and bleach anything?
