Alternative to hanging my lights?

I have a PFO pendant/hood that measures: 27.5" long x 12.25" wide x 7.5" tall The hood. The tank is 48inches longs (water column is 47inches).

My wife loves the setup so far that I am building but when she heard that I needed to hang the light above the tank she frowned on the idea saying she rather it not "hang" down.

So I am looking for ideas on what to do here. I have a open tank and want to keep it that way. Any ideas on how I can get this light 12inches above the tank withough hanging it from the ceiling?

The wife may go for a aircraft type cable suspension system. I really want something I can adjust

Works well and the adjustment is easy. I hang two pendants over my system with this style setup.

I saw this earlier, but my concern here is how its adjustable. I want something I can easily adjust if I need to get in the tank. If this thing is easy to adjust then I am sold
