Hello all, I was able to find another mag :) after my previous one did not make it:( I've taken some pics so you can give me your opinions. The FTS is to give you an idea of its tank placement. I thought about puting it on the very top of the right island, but I didn't know how it was going to react to the light - my last one didn't like the light too much. I'm guessing it can move up if it decides to. Let me know what you think. I think it looks a lot healthier than my last one from day one. Mouth is nice and closed, it hasn't moved from that spot and the foot is wide and nice and stuck. The tentacles do not look hollow, but meatier.

Where are you getting these mags? In san antonio or online?

Christina, I haven't found one in SA. The first one was from Live Aquaria and this one is from Oceansgarden.com. They both have 14 day guarantee. I'm hoping I don't use the guarantee on this one...

Good luck! In the first pic I can see the clowns rubbing their fins together getting ready to dive in hehe.

It's funny to watch the clowns chase away the trigger if it even swims by. The mag is looking better today-it's plumper.

I think your placement is fine. Like you mentioned, if it wants more light it can relocate. Also, the anemone looks to be in good health. I wish you the best with it. Once you get past the initial acclimation and the anemone is settled, they are fairly hardy.

It deflated yesterday and gave me a scare, so I did a 20 wc. This is it today:)

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but how close is your rock from the glass? I ask because when it is ready it will want to move to the highest point that it can. In aquaria this often involves a trip up the glass walls. This is especially dangerous in your case because you have uncovered powerheads :eek2:.

Thank you Joe and ento, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed. It is very beautiful.
EJ coral: The rock is right in the middle of the tank about 4" away from the back overflow and 6" from the front glass. It is sitting on its own island. I figured if it wanted to climb up it would do it on something it is already attached to. Plus, the powerheads are farther away in the corner.
I don't know if this pic helps...

Thank you, I am always opened to advise from the experts. It reacts well to my 400MH for at least 4 hours, and it actually ate some krill yesterday. :) but I know I'm not out of the woods yet. I'm keeping a very close eye on it.
